Our handmade dice with pseudo machine augmentations are made with due care and attention but we plead that you avoid contact with all of the BDS ticks and critters that show frequently in the gaming genre. Our dice are made to be as "FAIR" as possible however, there are ways in which dice can be "more fair". There are only 30 types of FAIR dice according to Archimedes, and to date, that number has never changed. Platonic solids that have faces that are all identical. Regular polygons meeting at the same three-dimensional angles are also known as the five regular polyhedra, they consist of the tetrahedron (or pyramid), cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron. All dimensional tolerances are defined by us and are measured in “Good Enough” units. These pseudo competition dice are not guaranteed to be square within 1/10,000 of an inch or balanced to within 5 micrograms but our dice may be guaranteed to evoke conversations. This is clear when you consider how many "symmetries" that a die has and how the many different ways that you can rotate the die so that its shape remains unchanged even though different parts of the die end up in different positions. for example: A six-sided cube die has 24 different symmetries. We do our best to get these symmetries balanced but it reduces down to chance and mostly dumb luck! A Numberphile has examined the geometry, physics, and the real world conditions that go into rolling dice and Jay Bennett had published his findings on SEP 14, 2016. Our dice have yet to be fully evaluated under these testing criteria.
